The Picnic Boat is ideal for families. Catering for 12 people you could treat the kids to a Pirate Party, surprise someone with a birthday treat or just book us for a family get together. We can cater for any occasion, we’ve even had a wedding reception on board!
Pirate Parties
Avast me hearties, bring all ye junior pirates for a cruise of the high seas (that’s river to you)!
Gather 8 or 9 pirates or mermaids, dressed up of course. Bring along a few older pirates (to order about) & enjoy a three hour voyage with a pirate feast, pirate songs, chilling pirate tales & some crab fishing.
One price of £250 for skippered boat hire, all food, entertainment, drinks & crabbing lines with bait. We are licensed for 12 passengers.
Safety: Adults are responsible for children on this trip. Children’s lifejackets are provided and must be worn at all times.
Weather conditions: We only go out in safe conditions and stick to the river which is very sheltered. There is a full rain cover over the boat. We do recommend suitable warm clothing, a raincoat and good shoes. Sunscreen is a must for the summer.
All two and a half hour cruises will provide time for the kids to go crab fishing! If booking for a small number, you may have to share your cruise.
